I saw this posting on the Google Earth Blog and thought this might be the next gadget to get once it is finalized. This was showcased at the 2008 Where 2.0 conference by a Boulder, Colorado company called earthscape. This is a 3D Earth application that earthscape is working on for the iPhone. Below is a video of the demo provided.
